Commentary: "Back the Blue"
is a catchy little phrase, but what does it really mean?
To some, "Back the Blue" could mean
picking up the tab for an officer's lunch. To others, it could be
the simple act of respect of telling a person behind the badge,
When I started thinking about the
phrase as something more than a clever little cliché, it became
obvious that those who do the most to "Back the Blue" are the
spouses of the officers.
So, here's the plan:
With the help and co-operation of

Richard Hodge, and the Bexar Community Shooting Range, we will
be hosting a CHL Class, Free to spouses of active
We will make the class available
to the first 24 registrants. The class will be held 0800,
October 24, 2015, at the Bexar Community Shooting Range, in East
Additionally, we will make
available to participants (on a day prior to the CHL Class) a
no-charge Firearms Safety and Shooting Fundamentals class.
