Some Teachers Can Carry Guns at Argyle ISD

The Argyle ISD Issues a Warning to Bad Guys.

Speaking on the subject of the Newtown, CT murders of 26 people, including 20 children, the NRA's Executive Vice President, Wayne LaPierre once said, “The only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with a good guy with a gun.”

Good news - It seems that the Argyle Independent School District (between Fort Worth and Denton, TX) shares LaPierre's belief.  The Argyle ISD has taken measures to ensure against ever becoming another Sandy Hook.

When school started in August, the Argyle ISD had authorized certain members of their staff to carry concealed handguns on the school premises.

Each elementary, middle, and high school now displays the following warning to bad guys:

"Please be aware that the staff at Argyle ISD are armed and may use whatever force is necessary to protect our students."

Let's hope more Texas school districts will develop the backbone necessary to finally take a stand against a controllable problem.

More good news - If the Argyle ISD staff is ever called on to protect their students, they will, most likely, not discriminate between the children of Conservatives and Liberals.

Practice, Practice, Practice
