The proficiency portion of the course is graded on a pass/fail basis, with a minimum score of 70% (175 points out of a possible 250) being necessary to pass.

  • Course of Fire - 3 Yards - 20 rounds
    • 5 rounds - 1 shot exercise
      • 2 seconds allowed for each shot
    • 6 rounds - 2 shot exercise
      • 3 seconds allowed for each 2 shots
    • 4 rounds - 2 shot exercise
      • 3 seconds allowed for each 2 shots
    • 5 rounds - 5 shot exercise
      • 10 seconds allowed for all 5 shots

    Possible score - 100 points
     

  • Course of Fire - 7 Yards - 20 rounds
    • 5 rounds - 5 shot exercise
      • 10 seconds allowed for all 5 shots
    • 5 rounds – 2 part exercise
      • 4 seconds allowed for 2 shots, then
      • 6 seconds allowed for 3 shots
    • 5 rounds – 1 shot exercise
      • 3 seconds allowed for each shot
    • 5 rounds – 5 shot exercise
      • 15 seconds allowed for 5 shots

        Possible score 100 points

  • Course of Fire – 15 Yards - 10 rounds
    • 5 rounds – 2 part exercise
      • 4 seconds allowed for 2 shots, then
      • 6 seconds allowed for 3 shots
    • 5 rounds – 5 shot exercise
      • 15 seconds allowed for all 5 shots

        Possible score – 50 points

Numbers designate the point value of target areas.  Shots outside the silhouette score "0".
