The proficiency portion of the course is graded on a pass/fail basis, with a minimum score of 70% (175 points out of a possible 250) being necessary to pass.

Course of Fire - 3 Yards - 20 rounds

5 rounds - 1 shot exercise

2 seconds allowed for each shot

6 rounds - 2 shot exercise

3 seconds allowed for each 2 shots

4 rounds - 2 shot exercise

3 seconds allowed for each 2 shots

5 rounds - 5 shot exercise

10 seconds allowed for all 5 shots

Possible score - 100 points

Course of Fire - 7 Yards - 20 rounds

5 rounds - 5 shot exercise

10 seconds allowed for all 5 shots

5 rounds – 2 part exercise

	4 seconds allowed for 2 shots, then
	6 seconds allowed for 3 shots

5 rounds – 1 shot exercise

3 seconds allowed for each shot

5 rounds – 5 shot exercise

15 seconds allowed for 5 shots

Possible score 100 points

Course of Fire – 15 Yards - 10 rounds

5 rounds – 2 part exercise

	4 seconds allowed for 2 shots, then
	6 seconds allowed for 3 shots

5 rounds – 5 shot exercise

15 seconds allowed for all 5 shots

Possible score – 50 points

Numbers designate the point value of target areas. Shots outside the silhouette score "0".
