In the portion of the course dealing with Non-Violent Dispute Resolution, we cover the ways one should evaluate a potentially violent situation, and the steps that can be taken to defuse the situation before it escalates into a violent confrontation. We cover widely accepted conflict de-escalation techniques, and tools that should be used to help redirect someone’s negative behavior by using words or verbal persuasion. |
