Option 1: Open Class
Classes are subject to our schedule and open to the public.

Participation is subject to advanced registration.
We endeavor to limit the size of our Open Classes to 20 - 24
students.

Classes may be held at either of our San Antonio facilities or at the
Corpus Christi Pistol & Rifle Club.

- Your classroom
If you have a suitable meeting room,
we can travel to your location for the classroom portion of the CHL Course.
A suitable meeting room is one that will comfortably seat 15 - 24
students, and allow an unobstructed 12' between our projector and
screen. Additionally, the room must be within 30 minutes driving
time from a safe shooting range.
NOTE:
Travel time to and from the shooting range will not be considered part
of the mandatory
10 hour minimum class time.

*Cost includes
classroom instruction, passport photos, range fee, complimentary loan a
handgun, ear-muffs, and shooting glasses. **Travel to
your classroom, within Bexar County, is at no charge. Travel outside Bexar County
is charged at 1.00/mile, based on round-trip mileage from our East San Antonio
Training Facility. Payment, in
full, must be received before a seat in the class can be guaranteed.

To members of the U.S. Armed Forces:
Thank you for your service.
As a small token of our deep appreciation of
your service to our Country, we have reduced our class fee to $75.00.
Our military fee applies to individuals currently serving
on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces.
The fee applies to initial
applicants participating in "open" classes.

ONLY NEW, FACTORY AMMUNITION WILL BE ALLOWED
~ NO RELOADS ~ NO
FUNCTIONING FIREARMS OR LIVE AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM
The fee charged by the State, for a regular 4 year license is $140, and $70 for a
5 year renewal. Seniors (60 and over) and honorably discharged members of the U.S. Armed Forces receive a 50%
discount. The State will waive the license fee for individuals currently
serving in the U.S. Armed Forces, in either a reserve or active duty status. |
